“Before the ACP my career, both professionally and as a sportswoman, were uncertain. I had faith great things were about to come, but I was not ready to face the huge up-coming changes. There were a lot of expectations, and at the same time I was nervous. All of a sudden I felt more self- reliant, especially when it came to tough decisions. It made me find all of the strength within me. I’m definitely a renewed Paola!

“It was actually thanks to the ACP that I realized that much of my attitude towards my activities were somehow shaped by my sport: being a perfectionist, a hard worker, committed and an excellence seeker.

“Now work for an Airline Accounting Center in the Accounting department. My responsibility is the company code 1YTO and 8YTO for all the payable side of it (invoices, cash boxes, and account reconciliations). I definitely want to become a financial expert and in future help other sport colleagues obtain the working spots they want because athletes are such a valuable assets for both companies and society!”
