Skater’s career on the crest of a wave

Eva-Marie Fitze

Aged 25 years old is a German former ice skater.

Eva-Marie came seventh in the 1997 European Championship and 15th in the 2006 Turin winter Olympics with her skating partner Rico Rex, after which, she retired.

In March 2006, Eva-Maria began working with the Adecco Athletes Career Programme. Adecco provided consultation on vocational training and supported Maria’s career planning. As part of getting Eva-Maria fully prepared, Adecco provided an E-learning-training course for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint which allowed Eva-Maria to complete it on here own schedule.

In May 2007, Maria found a job on a cruise liner and, in September, will begin training as a fitness instructor in Munich.

Maria said, “After Turin, I just didn’t know what to do with my life. Adecco helped me to make the right decisions and now I can dedicate myself to training as a fitness instructor.”
